Brief Summary 5 : Stuff-o-meter
Different style for point of sale display and public awareness campaign.
Point of Sale – Friendlier, need to show all the information but in a way that will not deter the customers from buying the products.
Interactive display? Sort of game show like graphics, the user can guess whether or not the product has a high environmental cost or a low one. Then they can explore what this is.
Website where you move the mouse over an item and it explodes into pieces. User can then click on the pieces and have a look at how they were made and the waste involved and transport etc.
Public awareness campaign – could be more shocking than if it were in a retail place. Show the waste in images.
